What is wide bandgap?
Wide bandgap semiconductors like silicon carbide and gallium nitride have larger energy gaps than conventional silicon. This allows them to handle higher voltages, frequencies, and temperatures while generating less heat. The result is more efficient power conversion in demanding applications.
